Using promisedby

promisedby reads the meetings you connect to it, extracts the commitments people made, and files them where your team already works. You need an account to use it, and you are responsible for what happens under that account.

Your content

Your meetings, transcripts and the tasks derived from them remain yours. You grant us only the access needed to provide the service — processing recordings you connect, generating briefs, and filing tasks to the destinations you choose.

Acceptable use

• Don't connect recordings you don't have the right to process.
• Don't attempt to access other customers' data.
• Don't resell or redistribute the service without written permission.

Automated extraction is a draft, not a record

promisedby uses automated models to decide what counts as a commitment, who owns it and when it is due. Models get things wrong — they miss items, invent detail, and mistake a speaker. That is exactly why nothing is filed until you approve it in the review queue. The reviewed output is your responsibility, not an authoritative transcript of what was agreed, and it should not be relied on as a legal or contractual record of the meeting.

Paid plans

Paid plans are billed through Paddle, our merchant of record, who handles payment and any applicable tax. Subscriptions renew automatically for the billing period you chose until you cancel, and cancelling stops the next renewal while leaving access in place until the current period ends. Where a plan advertises a free trial, cancelling before it ends means you are not charged. Prices can change with reasonable notice ahead of a renewal.

Availability

We aim to keep promisedby running continuously, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or discontinue features, and we'll give reasonable notice of material changes.

Ending your account

You can stop using promisedby at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms. On closure, your data is deleted according to the retention period described in the privacy policy.
